The Campus Climate Collaborative
Announced by Interim President Armstrong on August 29, 2024, Columbia's Campus Climate Collaborative is focused on embracing the values that will allow us all to thrive. For this, we must reject, as a community, behaviors that discriminate and harass.
Schools and unit leadership are working with their communities to nucleate small groups to discuss current opportunities and challenges and develop a set of ideas to strengthen our ability to deliver on our mission. We are ensuring that these localized conversations are coordinated and have support and resources centrally. The central administration is supporting the implementation of this Collaborative, working with the schools and units to maximize our ability to provide the resources and support to implement the best ideas generated through these processes.
We welcome proposals, suggestions, and ideas for exciting projects from students, faculty, and staff. Contact the Campus Climate Collaborative at [email protected].

Work with students, faculty, and staff on University-wide inclusion and belonging initiatives. Whether you want to help plan or attend fun events, work with others on inclusion and belonging or be an ambassador for sexual respect and student well-being, the Office of University Life has an opportunity for you.
"This is a time to rely on our shared purpose, our empathy for one another, and our commitment to Columbia’s future."
