Professor Masri is responsible for the development of an expanding network of Columbia Global Centers. As an ambassador for Columbia, he cultivates relationships with Columbia alumni and with international leaders, essential to the continued development of a global Columbia. He earned his Ph.D. from Stanford, and joined the faculty of Columbia Business School in 1988, where he also served as vice dean. Masri holds a senior research scholar appointment at the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). His scholarly interests are focused on the societal and political implications of educational policies in the Arab world. He was founding chairman of King’s Academy and of Queen Rania Teacher Academy.
