Susan K. Glancy

Susan Glancy is the 11^th Secretary of Columbia University, a position she assumed in 2024. In this role, she serves as the primary liaison between the Board of Trustees and the administration. Prior to becoming secretary, she served as the Chief of Staff to the President, a position she held for 18 years. She began her career at Columbia in 1999 at Columbia Business School.  Prior to joining Columbia, she worked for The Walt Disney Company. Glancy holds a degree in Theatre from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and a Master’s degree in Social and Organizational Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University.
