Wil McKoy

Wil McKoy is Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Interim Chief Operating Officer of the Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC). In these roles, he is responsible for the financial oversight of the patient care, research, and education missions of CUIMC and for management of core campus administrative functions, including facilities, information technology, human resources, campus and student services, government affairs, community affairs, and communications. Wil serves as a senior member of the CUIMC leadership team and, among other responsibilities, supports the medical center in its partnership with NewYork-Presbyterian, CUIMC’s primary hospital affiliate.

Wil holds a BA in East Asian Studies from Columbia College and an MBA from Columbia Business School. He began his career at Columbia in 1994 on the Morningside campus as a member of the central university management team before moving to the medical center in 2007. During his time at Columbia, Wil has held a number of positions including roles in information technology, student services, and finance.
