On September 23, 2020, President Bollinger took part in "Will Our Votes be Counted and Secure in 2020?" a National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine webinar on the U.S. voting landscape in 2020. President Bollinger and Indiana University President Michael McRobbie co-chaired the National Academy of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine’s Committee on the Future of Voting, which studied the issues of accessibility, reliability and verifiable technology in American elections.
